General discussion • AP Mode on Raspberry Pi CM4 – Unstable in Noisy 2.4/5 GHz Environment (Yocto Linux)

Hello Team,
I am using a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (Broadcom BCM43455 Wi‑Fi, brcmfmac driver) in AP mode, running on a Yocto (Poky 4.0 – Kirkstone) Linux build.
In a noisy RF environment (both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), the AP mode becomes unstable.
Symptoms include:

Client devices disconnecting randomly
Station list commands such as iw dev wlan0 station dump causing momentary drops
Frequent reassociations

I have already applied the usual optimizations:

Wi‑Fi power save disabled
Regulatory domain set to IN
Using clean channels (1/6/11 for 2.4 GHz and 36/40 for 5 GHz)

Request for Guidance
Could you please advise on the following points?

1.Recommended AP mode settings for the CM4 Wi‑Fi chip (Broadcom BCM43455) in high-noise environments
2.Best practices for regulatory database, CLM blob, and board-specific NVRAM to ensure the firmware correctly accepts the country code
3.Whether there are known limitations with AP mode stability on CM4 in congested RF environments
4.Any official firmware files or recommended configuration examples for Yocto-based systems

Thank you for any suggestions or recommended settings to improve AP stability.
I am happy to provide logs.
Regards,
Gavi Prakash
