What is the best way of providing UPS functionality for a Pi? I need to do this for a Pi 4B and a Pi 5. I need it to smoothly and without hesitation switch to battery power if the mains fails, to switch cleanly back to mains if the mains returns before the battery is flat, to shut down the Pi cleanly just before the battery is completely flat, to continue cleanly from exactly where it stopped if the mains then returns, and recharge the battery. All these stops and restarts need to by clean, so that all running processes can continue from where they left off, and that there is no risk of corrupting memory or flash. Presumably this needs some special software as well as a battery..
I'd welcome your advice on the best solution for this requirement.
