Hi, armed with help from this thread, in particular the post by ph-remy, I set about installing PINN and some OS's on my SSD. I failed. Loading PINN onto the SSD was fine. First mistake was to try and load the OS’s over Wifi. From the off, messages informed me that their were errors with Android (AIYprojects?) and Batocera so these were deselected and I continued. I started at midday on the 28 May, by bedtime, it was only 25% complete. In the morning it warned me of errors but it did boot into Ubuntu, only 3 OS’s had loaded (Ubuntu, LibreELEC and xbian - no Raspbian).
Ubuntu warned of errors and the need to update but I couldn’t achieve this. I did a SHIFT reboot and got to a screen asking me to "install an OS on this Raspberry Pi".
Started again from scratch over a wired internet connection. Much quicker this time, about 2 hours. Got a message something like, “All OS loaded”. System went into a “Welcome to Raspberry PI Desktop” home screen but then nothing. By accident, found that pressing Esc and F1 together swapped this for a black screen with, “Error: Can’t have a partition outside the disk! Ignore/Cancel” message. I could do neither, Esc took me back to the home screen. A boot holding shift down led to the RPI Imager being loaded and displayed. I'm now stuck, don't know what to do.
