I have a Rpi Zero W 2 and I wanted to attach a LED to it, but didn't want a big bulky breadboard.

I assume you have headers on your Zero.

I use this ZERODOCK https://www.pishop.ca/product/zerodock/ with Dupont male-2-male and female-2-mail connectors https://www.amazon.ca/dupont-wire/s?k=dupont+wire. Nice and small and everything is held together.
