I’ll second the suggestion for an official USB hub with a Ethernet port, slanted towards use on Zeros. I never understood the usb-a connector on the current usb hub, given that any pi you could plug it into already has multiple ports.
Actually... I know I can buy them, but an official USB hub with ethernet for the PiZero series. Cheap and cheerful, but branded and reliable, for when you need to attach.
The current hub was quite disappointing as the one device I never need it on was the one with 4 ports already, but the zero and its single uUSB, if often crops up for that need and ethernet just rules out WiFi being a problem.
(Yes I could use yet another convertor, but then I'd loose it, it's not clipped on.
...
So some clip around the wire usb (or hdmi) convertors..
