A 3 year old liked Tux Paint to scribble on a screen using a mouse. Code club starts kids at 8. What works between those years?
The Pi keyboard is readable but the Pi 500 keyboard is faint. I think I would start kids with a keyboard featuring large letters in high contrast. Plus a smaller mouse for little hands.
Touch screens work when they are old enough to not scratch them or use marker pens on the screen. Any suggestions on what age touch screens are safe from kids?
GPIO pin wiring is fiddly and LED/resistor wires are spikes. Age guides?
GUI enhancements? Recommendations?
The kids would have assistance but not micro management or helicoptering. No dumping them in front of a video or a passive game. Something where they can think and make decisions. Perhaps learn to beat Gukesh Dommaraju at chess.![Very Happy :D]()
