I’ve been exploring ways to make home security smarter using Raspberry Pi — especially for things like motion detection, real-time alerts, and camera integration. It’s amazing how flexible Pi boards can be for setting up DIY monitoring systems that rival commercial products.

I work with a company called United Security based in Mississauga, Ontario, and we’ve been looking into how affordable tech (like Raspberry Pi setups) can complement professional-grade home security systems. The goal is to give homeowners more control, smarter notifications, and better reliability — without breaking the bank.
