General discussion • Re: Product pricing

One challenge is it's not always easy to find Raspberry Pi posts saying what the USD pricing is, and hard to establish what those should be from the prices official US Resellers are selling at.

As just one example, those US resellers have the official 1m and 2m micro-HDMI cables priced at -I would guess the 1m cable is meant to be $5.00, the 2m $7.50. It's not clear to me why CanaKit and PiShop are charging more for the 1m cable.
Canakit is primarily Canadian, so that is likely Candadian dollars, not US.

Chicago distributors got absorbed/bought by/sold to (one of those) by PiShop.us, so they are both actually the same comp[any now. There is also a PiShop.ca in Canada, so those prices may also be in Canadian dollars.
And BTW, all (?) Raspberry Pi links to buy from MicroCenter appear to be delivering "Forbidden" results.
MicroCenter has the rather nasty habit, when it comes to items in short supply, of refusing to sell them by mail order, only selling them in their own stores. That works okay if you live near one of their stores, but there aren't very many of them. (The nearest ones to me are in the Los Angeles area, 400 miles from where I live, so dropping in is Not Practical.) As a result, I don't generally check them to see if they have what I want.
