General discussion • Re: Forum Ettiquitte Question

I had a problem, searched for related posts, didn't find previous solution, so I posted my question in the same category as a somewhat related post.

That was a mistake, it was the wrong place. Someone moved it to a more appropriate place (thanks) but did so in such a way that my post seems to have become invisible. Okay, bad on me. So I posted again, in the right place—and my new post got locked and points to my old post. Am I doomed to have hardly anyone see my question because I put it in the wrong place by mistake?

Other than "don't make mistakes", what am I supposed to do here?

Thanks,

-kb

"what am I supposed to do here?"

I can see the copy of your Question that the Moderators have decided should remain active here -
BOOT_ORDER=0xf41 Sometimes Doesn't Look at USB
- viewtopic.php?p=2338028#p2338028

There has been a reply there, so presumably I am not the only forum user able to see it.

(The Moderators try to keep good order in the forums for the benefit of the community, and experience has shown that running multiple discussions on the same topic rapidly gets confusing and frustrating. Hence the No Duplicates mandate.)

Both posts are in the Troubleshooting section of the forums, so there would have been no difference to their visibility.
