It worked for me! Here are the steps in my own words if that helps:
1) Follow the link and get the extension
2) Download the img.xz file (I used the Pi OS w/desktop)
3) Open the files folder and highlight the .xz file in downloads
4) Click open and it will uncompress the file as an .img on the left side of the files window
5) Click and drag the .img to the downloads folder to copy
6) When it finishes copying you can eject the .img drive
7) Right click the .img file in downloads and select zip
8) When that finishes open the extension you downloaded in step 1 and insert an SD card
9) Click the gear icon and use local image then select the SD card you're using
10) When it finishes eject the card and install in the RPi, plug it in and it boots up
