I currently have a Pi 5 set up as a NAS running Raspberry Pi OS Lite, with a ZFS pool set up as a mirror, using two hard disks. I am considering increasing the capacity of the array by adding a third drive, and creating a new 3-disk RAIDZ pool. Can anyone tell me if they have tried RAIDZ on a Raspberry Pi? I'm expecting there to be increased processor load due to the need to perform parity calculations, which is not required for mirrored vdevs. I'm interested in whether I will see any slowdown compared to using a mirrored layout.
