It is my belief that all of what you are trying to do is indeed possible, (noting that I've never done it)...
The thing I think that makes it possible is the hailo ai accelerator... if you were running the ai stuff on the cpu along with the other stuff you were trying to do, I could see things getting a little resource constrained, but in theory the ai accelerator should free up your cpu for whatever else you want to use it for... (and just to be clear it probably would have worked without the ai accelerator but with lower performance)
As someone who uses AI regularly... I can tell you, you have to treat what an ai tells you with a grain of salt... It can be a wonderful tool to help do your research and suggest courses of action, and give you insights, but before you execute any commands or code that it gives you, you have to go through the whole thing and make sure you know what it's all doing... You have to verify that it's not hallucinating at you.
I'm not sure what you did to bring your whole setup crashing down, but if you were just blindly following what the ai told you to do, some version of catastrophe was perhaps a little bit predictable... AI's are great, but they make things up with absolute 100% confidence and it's left to you to figure out which pieces are valuable, and which things they've said don't line up and won't help your project.
Hope your project goes well, cheers![Smile :)]()
