I have two HDMI monitors of the same resolution plugged into a Pi5; running totally up to date Bookworm 64-bit.
Used in 'extended desktop' mode, they work fine.
I also want the option to show the same on both screens.
I've found the Preferences-->Appearance Settings->Use common desktop option, which looks as if it should do what I want. However when checked it only duplicates the 'Waste Basket' icon; not the taskbar, not a terminal window, not a file manager instance.
Is there some other setting I've not found, or are cloned monitors not supported currently?
