Water should be ok. Orange juice and other stuff can corrode so first wash off drink with clean water. Then sunlight as mentioned above or a hair dryer on lowest setting and held far away. Hold the device in one hand and the hair dryer in the other. If the dryer is close enough to make your hand uncomfortable, it is too hot. The warm moving air should dry out the contacts before they corrode.
