The broker binds to the network adapter and will listen there regardless of what the ip address of that nic is.

The only setting that i know of that is related, but not what you are looking for, is which adapter the broker should bind to. In case the server has multiple network interfaces, you can tell the broker to only listen in 1, some of all of them, but there is not setting for telling it what the ip address is.

What are you trying to accomplish that let you to wonder if such a setting exists?

Are you trying to tell the client to publish, or subscribe, to a broker and don't want to have to specify the broker's address and hoping there is a config file where you can set that up and not have to worry about it again?
